CBJ would make that Detroit trade, giving 2022 CBJ 1st and a 4th for Dach, Connelly and 2 picks.

If that offer were for John Gibson alone, we'd still turn it down.

Moreover, we wouldn't pay that second for any one of the elements in that offer - even Connor Murphy.

That Ducks trade has to be up there for one of the worst I've seen on this site

The Ducks dont trade Drysdale or Gibson for that, they might not even give up a second for that let alone all three

It's a cogent trade but

Keith De Haan Ceci at a combined 13M 😬

If CHI take back Koskinen it definitely helps

With raymond and nedeljkovic added and nothing subtracted off the roster I doubt that 1st is going to be high enough to justify trading dach

DET would probably take that trade, especially if it's made in season. You'd be banking on the hope that Dach improves the middle enough to drive up the win totals, which would make that pick down into the 10s. Dach is easily worth a 10-20 pick, especially because you know who he is, and you throw out the crapshoot.

That Anaheim trade is awful for the Ducks. The BUF and DET trades are awful for Chicago.

Detroit needs to see where they are in the standings. Make it a top 5 protected pick and we probably make that deal for Dach.

That garbage doesn't get Drysdale and Gibson, And teams that go through tear downs. Don't go after high end talent like Jack Eichel.

Wait, so you think Dach is only worth a 10 to 20 pick? Are you on drugs? Dach was 3rd OA in 2019 and arguably he and hughes as of today would be fighting for the #1 OA pick if the draft were to happen again. In what world do you not think Dach is not worth a top 5 pick PLUS given that he's a known NHL player now with no risk, 20 years old on a ELC, and playing lights out so far this season as probably the best Hawk on the roster maybe only behind Debrincat?

It's not what he's worth, it's what we can give up at this stage of rebuild. I DEFINITELY think he's worth a top 5-10, maybe say top 3 protected then? This draft is just too good, so Detroit can't afford to pass on one of those top 3 picks, even for a former top 3 pick, who is very good.

I get what you're saying but outside of Wright, there isn't one player in the draft that I would say is a sure bet better player then what Dach has shown....it's a gamble outside of Wright.

If Chicago does a complete teardown rebuild, there is not a chance they move Dach or Debrincat obviously unless it's a massive overypay; no way does Chicago go into a crap shoot draft pick for Dach a bonafide entity. I'd even argue Kubalik still being rather young and being a top 20 goal scorer as far as goals per game in the league today.

It's already a bad trade for Edmonton and you want to add Koskinen?? That just makes it worse!

If this is a rebuild... why would you trade Dach who is like 20 for a pick?

Edmonton has no use for De Haan. And Edmonton is too close to the cap to even talk about these guys without 50% retention.
