No thanks from the Oilers at this point in time. Koski/Smith have both looked good to start the year and Ryan looking great at 3C. No sense in making that trade for a struggling goalie (although a lot of that is team struggles).

Vancouver passes don't have the cap space.

Vancouver would have a hard time with the additional cap hit.

Would you take the 3rd with Hamonic at $725,000 retained? When he is on leave I believe his cap hit is $1,875,000, if/when he comes off leave he is probably also worth a 3rd. That's probably the only way Vancouver could make it work cap wise.
