Byfield and Wright? and Kopitar and Danult? Holy center depth!

Wonder if LAK would have interest in Jeff Petry. Habs need to rebuild.

This is awful. I seriously had hopes that we might contend for a playoff slot this year. I know it's a long season, but losing one of the League's time-on-ice leaders will really hurt, and I thought that Sean Walker was the perfect third-pairing defenseman.

It's gonna take more than a rough season start for the Habs to trade Jeff Petry.

I'm bummed for the Kings of course, but Doughty was trying to show he was Olympics ready. I feel for the guy and hope him a speedy recovery, Was also excited to see Walker get more offensive with Edler.

The only positive I can find is that we may be able to see is we will likely give Strand, Spece and Durzi opportunities,

Don't think the Kings would have any interest in giving up what Petry would cost. The Kings pipeline is full of RHD. They're shorthanded a bit for the next 2 months, but after that they'll be back to full strength with Doughty, Roy, and Strand. Clague played almost exclusively at RHD in Ontario for two seasons due to a LHD shortage.

Doesn't make sense for LA to give up quality assets for a right-handed defenseman.

Don't think we'll see either Spence or Durzi this season unless there are a few more injuries.

Not a fan of Maata in the lineup. Obviously: Edler, Andersson, Roy, and BJornfot. But who are you thinking?

Edler, Anderson, and Bjornfot on the left. Roy, Strand, Clague on the right. Maatta #7.

It looks like Buffalo is going to waive Wolanin once Samuelsson returns to the lineup next week, so LA will likely get him back. He's next up after that.

Yeah nevermind that makes sense, hope Clague works.

I guess this is the year to do it if any with the draft supposed to be really good. Definitely does suck though.
