Colorado might be interested in Rakell, but not if the price is a first plus (imo). If Anaheim can get that elsewhere, good for them. I can't see Sakic doing it though.

too high for Rackell, a 2nd and a mid level prospect is more likely

If a late 1st in 2 years, and a 22 year old who hasn't sniffed the NHL yet, who also projects to be a bottom 6 forward is too much for a top 6 winger with retention, then it should be a hilariously underwhelming deadline for sellers, and an easy ride for buyers!

Winnipeg says no. The don't have the need or cap space to overpay for Manson.

... and didn't Manson already reject a trade to Winnipeg?

I feel the Ducks can get more for Lindholm if he is traded

Manson blocked a WPG trade last year so probably not going to accept that this year

I’d be interested in the COL trade

Rackell hasn't been good in 3 years and all of his value was in his contract which no longer has term.

We see a small handful of people get a 1st each TDL and Rackell isn't close to that.

Hell even Hall didn't get a 1st last year

Hasn't been good in 3 years? What are we considering as "Good"? I mean, he put up 42 points in 62 games two years ago (56 pts/82 games, which is pretty much right in line with his career norm...).

Top six winger playing on a prolificly bad offensive team, that somehow still manages to put up excellent possession numbers, while posting nearly unsustainably low shooting percentage last season? I mean, imagine thinking a player who was playing with Rico and Silfverberg last year would somehow light it up offensively?

This year? Suddenly he's back playing an offensive role on a line with Zegras, and all of the sudden he's got 4 goals in the 1st 7 games, where his shooting percentage is right in the middle of where it was during his 2 30+ goal years, and he continues to put up excellent possession numbers.

As for Hall, that's a hilarious example given that he had a full NMC with Buffalo, and apparently only gave the Sabres 2-3 options. You don't get a good return when your hands are tied...

At this point, if you can't get a 1st back or solid prospect back in a deal for him, there's really no point moving him.

You call a 49.84% CF over this and last year good?
An xGF% of 47.63% good?

A player who went on a SH% bender in a single year, never to get close to it again and is horrid defensively? And now you're going with small sample sizes?

You sure seem like you think you know what you're talking about but that doesn't seem to be the case.
