NSH declines. Carrier and Jeannot have been good fits for the Preds, and none of the players coming back from CAR are of much interest.

I wouldn’t give half of that for Gibson. Bad team or not, his numbers are worth staying away from. The stats definitely don’t say paying a premium for him is a smart move.

It's merely a base. The idea is extra assets in exchange for team-friendly contracts that Carolina has far more of a need for than the retooling Predators.

I'd much rather have Carrier than Bear, and none of the other prospects have much upside. I get why CAR would like it, but it doesn't help NSH in any way.
