Description

They needed the win over Chicago, but the possibility of no playoffs is not super low. It's not high, but it's visible enough that it could be a concern. If they miss, there will be a big reaction from hockey fans and the hockey media. Keep the Bunting-Matthews-Nylander line.

Detriot ngl has the potential. Buffalo is looking decent rn and only time will tell if it will last. All 8 Metro teams have a chance of making the playoffs. (Jersey and Columbus have looked decent to start the season)

So small sample sizes for bad teams mean they are good but small sample sizes for the leafs mean they are bad. This is so typical of this site. Buffalo and Detroit are perfect examples of teams that are playing way above their ability to start the season. Neither will be able to keep it going but somehow the leafs who despite having a lot of underlying good going on, will not get better because reasons.

Tampa, Florida and Boston make it over Toronto, Then your left with Wild Card, which will be tough considering the Metro has 7 good teams in it.
Hope they make it but I beleive it will be close this year.
