Blow it up

Description
Let me just say I’m really proud of this it was a big undertaking in terms of amount whether that’s players to sort through or making the money work it was pretty hard to find the right trade partners too anyway I won’t keep you read the rest and give me feedback

So yea they got some problems rn
Anyway I say blow it up get rid of anyone that was there when these allegations started
Also I assume they may with have to pay a fine or they’ll lose draft picks. Since I’m a blues fan I secretly hope they get punished hard so imma do that for fun bye bye First round draft picks
Also imo Almost no one is waiving for CHI rn they would probably go to BUF or AZ first so I tried to go with guys without NTC/NMC
Also yes every teams cap works fine Cap would have to get rid of Kempy or haglin at some point but that should cost to to much
And the lighting always make the cap work

As wild as a line with Ovechkin, backstrom and Kane would be, I don't think they would be interested in giving up all that for both of those players.

    Let’s break it down
    Copley is whatever
Toews replaces eller in that 2 way role with a lot better scoring
Kane is Kane and replaces Mantha
So basically they are giving up the guys they are replacing 2 firsts a B level and A Level prospect in exchange for Kane and toews both at 50% for the next two years with no one really to sign other than Vanacek
They also save about a million with this and can move someone like Haglin or Hathaway to get that extra money to sign Vanacek
Imo it’s an amazing deal tho maybe take out a first and add a Second and Third in place idk

I don't hate the idea of it, especially since they are in win now mode, just alot to give up for two older players, even guys that have such amazing track records.
I think if you swapped Copley for Hagelin and sent them Gaudette to replace him it would be a bit more desirable. That way they don't have to pay someone to take hagelin next season, especially after they just gave up so much for this trade. Gaudette is RFA and would be relatively cheap to resign if they chose to.
That's just what I think anyways for this trade. They probably win the cup by doing this.

I doubt pens give up that much for flower. He's been bad this year and was just traded a few months ago for literally nothing.
Maybe a forth round pick and ERod

I'm pretty sure the punishment has been finalized. Zero picks taken away, but $2M fine by the NHL and I'm sure it'll be ~$50M+ in settlements to all the victims.

Why do you guys keep sending us Fleury? Do none of you look at our financial situation?

And please don't say, "Just move someone and make it work."

If you add Riikola and DeSmith to the deal the money probably jives.

It only makes sense that Fleury ends his career in Pittsburgh with a chance at another cup.

That doesn't change the Pens' financial situation.

You set it up yourself lol. I bet Chicago would retain for picks. Though Pens pipeline is pretty bleak.

Hahah I was expecting it lol. Oh yeah, our pipeline is crap, but we still have to have money going the other way. I think adding Riikola and DeSmith really shouldn't be an issue. They're both in their last year, and CHI can probably flip both of them at the deadline. DeSmith for sure.
