ugh i wouldn't want to give up dobson but i want theodore SO badly so like, i'd consider it for sure

Why would BUF not keep Theodore??? That return isn't great and it doesn't work for NYI cap

I'd almost reluctantly take this deal but Isles are just creating another hole but not having someone to play on RD

ideally they’d find a way to swing it while still keeping dobson but theodore is literally exactly what they need right now. it’s a tough one.

If Vegas trades Theodore, I don’t know that the Sabres would get Brisson and a 1st as well. Probably one or the other

Cause they're flush with LHD, he doesn't really fit their timeline and would be better used as a trade chip like he is here.

That'd be a great top 4 D and the Sabres have some other solid D prospects that can fill out the 3rd pair nicely.
