Description

This is what I consider to be a realistic deal for Lindholm. Assuming the Islanders do win the cup, the Ducks get a 1st (in a VERY deep draft), a 3rd, a decent defenseman, a bottom 6 forward, and a good right winger prospect.

Let me know what you think. I think it's a slight overpay, but I still think an overpay is worth a cup.

In my opinon this only happens if lindholm signs a contract and even then it's a little steep

I'm sure Lou could work his magic in the off-season (this trade reminds me heavily of the McDonagh one in 2018 anyways lol).

He's a pretty replaceable defenseman, so my response to that is just free agency, and putting him with Greene is a nightmare waiting to happen.

Lindholm has been playing with Jamie Drysdale, so he is the perfect partner for Dobson (who is further along in his development, especially defensively); we'd retain 50%; the sooner this gets done, the better, as we're not SNIFFING the playoffs, even in the Pathetic Division; and the third is overkill.
