LOL he has negative expected goals differential in almost every single season despite getting 70% ozone starts

He might be sorta good at putting the puck in the net, but the defensive side of his game means hes a net negative.

He's been 50% or better GF% in 6 of his past 8 years, the defensive issues are overblown. If he was very good defensively he'd be getting $9M, so his known abilities are already accepted and accounted for in his cap hit.

He has great value as a top-10 offensive defenseman in the NHL - top-10 on the PP AND at 5v5.
