Adams isn't retaining $5,000,000 for another 5 seasons, And he wont deal jack Eichel within the division and once again Boston doesn't have the assets for Eichel. Especially at 50% retained.

Yeah, But it doesn't mean that Adams is eating $5,000,000 for 5 season just because the NHLPA forces a move. They can't force Adams and Buffalo to retain 50% on Eichel.

Its a troll, they are suggesting that the nhlpa is going to force the sabres to let eichel go to boston for free, and the sabres will be forced for some reason to retain half. Frankly, im not even sure what the nhlpas role would be if eichels camp filed a grievance. The nhlpa got the players to agree to the cba. And its worse than that- pretty sure eichel could get the surgery today and bear all the responsibility if it goes sideways. Instead, he wants the sabres to agree to the adr and be on the hook for 50 million if it goes sideways. What leverage does the nhlpa have to try to force buffalo to accept financial responsibility for a surgery that their own doctors have advised against, and also, an owner that isnt cheap, but is getting sick of paying people to not work for him, and also, the last 6 months probably hasnt sweetend the pot for ownership to agree to offer this kid some kind of sweet deal.

From what Frank Seravalli just reported, it sounds like the Sabres and Golden Knights are working on a frame work of a deal for Jack Eichel.

Saw that. I saw something about it being elvenes and tuch, plus either krebs or theodore as the basis of the deal. Sounds about right, i think i would prefer the forward here, but krebs isnt exactly in the "cant fail" tier, and the worst part about getting a guy like theodore is it almost certainly (you would think) requires moving one of the high value d for a high value forward. All i know from the last 6 months is a high value d absolutely does not get you a high value young forward, AT LEAST ON ACGM.

They can ask really nice maybe? You'd think if they had some kind of hammer, that either one of eichels agents would have led off with that.
