Pretty sure you added Zegras by accident.

Most ducks fans wouldn’t even offer Zegras for Jack straight up. Not sure Silferberg would want to come to Buffalo, but he technically makes more money because New York State taxes is actually lower than California’s.

Im thinking shibbals idea here is that time is of the essence, the insiders are all saying something is close with vegas, and calgary is still in the mix, so its clear where ducks fans on this site land on this, bob murray however...

Fwiw, i think mactavish and a protected 23 first as a basis, plus a young forward/forward prospect- puts anaheim at the front of the line. Murray would get to keep zegras and drysdale and still land a 25 year old franchise center, who is under contract for 4 plus years. Theres plenty of people who would call that a win.

Watching the Sabres play Anaheim I paid attention to Drysdale and Zegras during the game. Zegras impressed me and Drysdale did not. To be fair it is harder to be a defenseman in the NHL than a forward, I think it takes longer to develop. Drysdale is a good skater who is a decent puck handler, but he seems to be suspect in his own end. He reminds me of all the things that we liked and did not like about Ristolainen. Oddly enough we really don’t miss him because Robert Hagg has fit in so much better.

McTavish did not play in the game unfortunately, I understand he had just come off an injury. But if I’m choosing between Drysdale or McTavish I’m leaning toward McTavish, especially since the Sabres need young forwards a lot more.

Drysdale has Montour written all over him, way overrated by Sabre fans and little need for him to start with
