What would be the point from the Leafs view? Kerfoot is playing OK and has shown he can up his game

I’d do Ritchie + Dermott, get rid of our dead weight.

I certainly would keep Dermot, but getting rid of Ritchie would be great. IMO it would be a mistake trading for baby brother Nylander. Leafs William has his head on straight, and don't want his younger brother being a distraction.

In the last 3 years Strome has 41 even strength points in 101 GP
Kerfoot has 49 in 130 GP

That's 0.41 for Strome and 0.38 ppg for kerfoot

Nobody is arguing Strome is better defensively are they?

Strome is younger so may have more upside, but today I definitely take kerfoot.

Dermott is on our top pair, not exactly dead weight. Ritchie is for sure dead weight.

Lol wouldn’t you love to? But Chicago would certainly laugh at you.

I think the Leafs need to find a 2RD that is better than Holl. Dermott is decent but to find an upgrade, it's hard to keep his cap hit.

Leafs don’t need any upgrades. We need to find space for Dmen. Lilly needs to be in the top 6 and we niemela on the way. Leafs have 7 Dmen capable of playing in the top 4.
