Foegele is a key part of our 3rd line and we just traded signifigant assets to get him. he will not be going anywhere.

VAN 100% declines

Sid's a legend but at 34, injury/concussion concerns there is simply no way VAN offers up one of our best fwds AND an RHD prospect AND..... WTH!?..... 3 1sts????????

honestly, if it was me I wouldn't trade Garland for Crosby straight up at this point.

Dallas declines. They're in the same position as Pittsburgh. They are an old team that's not going anywhere. They are going to be entering into a rebuild as well & losing picks for a veteran defenseman does not help that rebuild.

So oilers are trying to win now and you have Pittsburg doing a little rebuild here so why is the best player right now going to Pittsburg in that trade? Doesn’t that kinda go against what both teams are trying to accomplish?

14 years ago you would get that for Crosby but at 34, no way. With his injury history, cap hit and age he's worth a 1st and a prospect.
