Description

If the Pens got out of Zucker and Matheson’s deals, look how much cap space they’d have(even signing Geno and Letang to top-end extensions and a 24 man roster).

You can even put Zucker and Kappy on the 3rd line and do a normal 23 man roster, sending Riikola to the AHL, and it still works under the cap.

And if Carter retires, Zohorna is ready at Center too.

ZAR and Lafferty will probably get bigger deals and a better opportunity elsewhere. Riikola probably will too.

Filip Lindberg; AHL player of the month. 4-0-1 with 1.71GAA and .942 SV %.

And Louis Domingue 1-1 with 1.44 GAA and .955 SV%.

Not to mention: Joel Blomqvist- 3-0 in Liiga. With 0.39 GAA and .980 SV%. Wow.!!

And Calle Clang(won his leagues MVP last season, on a last place team; 2.46 GAA and .919 SV% in 36 games). This season so far in SHL he’s 3-1 with .2.26 GAA and .895 SV%.
