This makes a little sense

Team: 2021-22 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 3, 2021
Published: Nov. 3, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Lindberg is lighting it up in the AHL and Riikola looked really good against NJD. We should move Desmith and Ruhwedel to save cap and to get picks or a different player. ZAR could also be someone we trade to bring in O'Connor and save cap

Smith looked good prior to injury and Koskinen has played great in his absence. The Oilers are unlikely to spend assets to crowd up the crease with Smith close to return. Something like this could be revisited if there were a lengthy injury or one of the goalies lost their game.

Any other team that you think would be interested in a goalie?

I would say Arizona but I don't think they have interest in improving this year.

It's just 4 AHL games of experience in his whole professional carrier. He should stay where he is. Not a good idea to rush him to NHL.

Easy no from EDM imo. Koskinen is finally playing great and Smith is close to coming back. So we don't need DeSmith and Ruhwedel would never see a game anyways. For both those guys combined I wouldn't give anything more than a 3rd for

Edmonton is currently 7th best in the league for save percentage. You'll want to look at a bottom-10 team most likely. They are, in order of worst to least worst:

Arizona
Seattle
Chicago
Minnesota
Tampa Bay
Colorado
New Jersey
Montreal
Los Angeles
Detroit
