Who knows if this is true or not, but :

The Royal Report

Kevyn has a real tough choice to make, from what we know the offers are:

#Flames - Tkachuk, Valimaki, Zary, Pelletier, 2022 1st

OR

#VegasBorn - Krebs, Tuch, Brisson/Coghlan, 2022 1st

"For all asking, my understanding is the Flames have Tkachuk ( who is a future potential captain) an upcoming 1 Rd pick, a former 1st Rd pick, and 2 prospects in the Eichel sweepstakes with the Sabres"

If Calgary was offering that, deal would have been done by now.

Agreed its one of zary/pelltier the second prospect is phillips/ruzicka type player

not to mention the money doesnt work in that trade another roster player will be included.

Really? I’d take that Calgary package.

Tkachuk >> Tuch
Zary = Krebs
Pelletier < Brisson
Valimaki > Coghlan
Flames 1st > Vegas 1st

I would think both prospects would come from the Phillips/Ruzicka tier if they are coming on top of Tkachuk, Valimaki, picks.

So the Flames trade two of their top forwards for an injured Eichel....so the Flames are much worse this season. Plus those futures? An easy no from the Flames.

Wow you're not smart are you. It's a first next year. The thought process OBVIOUSLY is, take the L this year. Let Eichel get healthy and dominate next year.

Tho, why would Buffalo want Backlund?

No, I don't think you're smart. For Flames to give up on this season for their fans and players isn't a good choice at all. Backland is a competent 45 to 50 a season player. Yes, Flames get four years of Eichel out of the deal.
