Yeah I agree but I do believe Eklund and Doug Wilson Jr have a plan.

Obviously I’m not there but I’m just some dude with some knowledge; and I can see where he needs to improve. Eklund has take it as; you’re going to be an NHL player just go improve your game, add some size, and you’ll be recalled after the world juniors (which I can’t wait to see that tourney), and you have earned an NHL job, this isn’t a demotion just a “project” lol.

Eklund imo, should just focus on making smarter decisions (cause he try’s to galaxy brain a lot of plays which is fine but sometimes you don’t need to do a spin o Rama off the boards with nasty edge work and a cross rink pass lol, but I love it so 😅) and get stronger. It was evident often that if he had even just 5 more pounds of muscle or a little more stronger lower body utilization that he would’ve picked up 1-3 goals/ 5 more points.

Well deserved.

It was a smart hook by Hedman, but it's like Sergachev heard a voice yell "finish him!". Like wtf are you doing with that hit.

Poor Weekes, Murphy Law (BUF) and Steve MacFarlene (CGY) both adamant that Tkachuk was on the table/ CAL was close to a deal while Elliotte (the biggest gun of all insiders) says it’s BS.

Weekes probably just ate the bull**** Law and MacFarlene have been harping about.

I would wait till the deadline. Cause what if he's good now than falls off in January or suffers an injury. A deadline extension makes the most sense as by then we will know what he's worth

Hmm idk, it could be like the some juniors where once theyre reassigned they "cant" comeback. Either way I hope he cheers up because the boys definitely told him theyre waiting for him to come back. Its genuinely a possibility Eklund alone, could be a reason why Hertl comes back (amongst other reasons).

Either way, I believe this should ignite a fire under him; as Wilsons comments are not at all degrading and hold high praise on William. WJC are the next step for him.

If that's true, and the Sabres actually put out that rumor just to put pressure on Vegas, that is both unbelievable and a real lowbrow move by Buffalo, not just the lying aspect, which is a really bad precedent to set, but potentially damaging a player's (Tkachuk's) relationship with his team just for your own personal gain? Really, really not cool.

Yep, but could have definitely been a misunderstanding by the Calgary and Buffalo reporters. If a person in buffalo said that they wanted tkachuk and it turned into they where getting Tkachuk...this is why I hate the Rumors so much, because there is never credibility behind anything.
