think i would rather keep willy than have travis and frost,
especially considering both kral and amirov are waiver exempt so you already kinda have a 23 man roster if you think those are gonna be the guys coming up.
cap should go up 1 mil as well so that opens up some additional avenues.

Throw Robertson on that top line next year
bunting on the second
gogolev on the third right side kampf center and a 1.5 million dollar left winger on the left
simmer semyonov spezza seems fine to me.

I think jack will take less probably closer to 4 million just kinda seems like the kinda guy he is.

I dont think you are wrong mind you, this is quite a realistic scenario to end up with.
Just my 2 cents on the whole situation.

I agree Nylander seemed to be the only player on the Leafs to start the season on time 5 points in the first 5 games.

I also think if Kerfoot to Detroit was going to happen it would've happened a while ago.

I don;t know if the gap between Nylander and Koneckny is Frost and a pick.

Koneckny's production, salary and term brings it closer, but Frost who is getting up to game speed is still a quality prospect. But its close enough, Philly probably counters.

I like the acknowledgement of trying to improve the forward depth in lines 3 and 4, but 3 rookies and oldies in Spezza/Simmonds?

Not addressing the defense is problematic.

I can see the addition of a youngster or two, but you've got 6 on the roster while hoping simmonds/spezza can keep going. After only adding sandin and liljegren the past 2 years, I just cant see 6 of them arriving. I think it'll be lesser returns and while the plethora of youngsters get their feet wet, you'd be a yr closer to a matthews re-sign and replacing brodie/muzzin.

Detroit has zero need for Kerfoot, And you'd be lucky to get a 4th round pick for him.
