Didn’t wanna trade Mac, wanted to try and keep this team together. But yes when sergachev needs an extention Mac might have to go.

Can't see Palat taking that much of a pay cut. Someone will offer him more than that.

He's 30 right now, probably going to be his last chance to cash in. Taking an almost 50% haircut on a short term deal doesn't really make sense.

Not saying he wouldn't, but from an outsiders perspective it doesn't make much sense.

Palat has also been payed 32 million dollars by the club and has only played for us his entire career. Don’t see him trying to break the bank for his own good
