Looking at Olofsson on his own, Buffalo should sign him long term. Looking at how many first round picks Buffalo is putting together, maybe they take another one for the sake of adding four good players on ELCs, all at once.

Dallas should very happy with that return if they're out of the playoff picture.

MTL doesn't need Schultz if they're rebuilding. Toronto might give them a 2nd to swap Holl for a retained Schultz, though.

Good trades. I'm not sure I see what Sheary brings to the checking line, and I think they'd miss Hagelin, there. Other than that, it makes sense.

If Olofsson continues playing well, it will take more than a first.
I have been more impressed with him as the season progresses.
I think I would keep him and try to get him to sign long term for less than $5,000,000.

Oh, for sure, if it's that cheap. But can you imagine four first round picks joining a team all at once? Have we seen a team do that, this century? Teams keep picking more accurately every year. Four firsts on ELCs, coming up around the same time as Power? Could be good. Still, I'm sure WSH has to add, like, Lucas Johansen at least, because Olofsson is good.

Makes sense. Possible landing spot for Schultz, if Olofsson is the upgrade WSH needs: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/2886895
