Vilardi isn’t worth Gurianov. Vilardi has struggled in the NHL so much that I’m not sure he even plays C anymore. I know they put him on the wing last season. Not sure where he plays this season but his value is at an all time low.

"$7,857,142x7"

wants

"8x8"

uh... and how isn't this close? tears of joy

Just another example of how people will complain about literally everything on here.

Geez, and I was going to complain about the fact that it really should be $ . . . 143.

Kings aren't giving up on Vilardi. Regardless of what the guy above says, he most definitely does still play center.

He was one of the best (if not the best) player during training camp. Hasn't had much help on his wings so far this season. He and Lias Andersson built solid chemistry together, but Andersson got hurt to start the year, and right when he came back, Vilardi went out on COVID protocol.

Kings might eventually need to shift him to the wing. They might also decide that he's expendable once Turcotte and Byfield make the permanent jump to the NHL. Right now, the Kings aren't going to trade him.

Note that is a year end / offseason next year trade. I agree that they give him the season, but after that? I think they'll be looking for a change of scenery move with the amount of center talent in LA.

I’d probably take that NJ deal, but I’d rather keep Gurianov over Vilardi.

Though he's had a slow start to this season, Kuokkanen probably has more upside than Faksa, younger, better contract as well.
Don't see Fitzgerald going through with this trade.

That's why I said I'd take it, never said NJ would.
