He’s not a franchise player he can be and he’s showed glimpses of that especially in his rookie year, but at best he will be a Morgan Rielly type of player.

Doesn't matter, That offer still doesn't get him it's not enough. needs to at least add a 1st round pick to the deal and even more.

Sabres decline. Just take the worst NHL defender Will Butcher away from him and save Dahlin's psyche. He was absolutely fine when he played with Jokiharju or Borgen.

I mean yeah they obviously aren’t going to trade him. They at least need to get him a better RD. I didn’t realize Butcher was this bad.

Waste of time comment ^

Still just 21

Hasn't had the luxury recently that most have of legit top line forwards to help boost his point totals nor a quality experienced D partner to provide stability

He's stranded on loser island

Blame Kevyn Adams if anyone

People are so irrationally vicious towards offensively skilled puck moving style D it's ridiculous, Wilbur actually has good xGA numbers for his career

Maybe the problem is the team around Dahlin collapsed to the point of being partly an AHL roster? Maybe?? That'll definitely make the 1 D look bad

I mean, jersey paid us to take him. I saw somebody from jersey say that butcher is the worst skating (non face puncher) that they have had in the last 20 years. I thought it was just hyperbole. Its not. He had a rough game against seattle. Maybe he still has a limited role on this team, but it cant be what its been the last few games. Speaking of d that cant skate, im intetested to see how samuelsson transitions to the nhl.

This is just being annoying. It’s so obvious this trade doesn’t work.

I'm a Sabres fan. He's running out of time. He hasn't consistently played well since his rookie year. I'm afraid he's unrepairable. Krueger ruined him. If he doesn't improve before the trade deadline I think it would be best to trade him while his value is somewhat high. This is his 4th year. We gotta stop treating him like a rookie.

Maybe you should watch the games? Will Butcher is the absolute worst player on the ice in every game, that's just a fact. Stupid you idiot
