Detroit say no thanks, Detroit would be looking for a good D prospect for Nyquist and New Jersey doesn't have it. They pretty much have the same needs on D as us.

I think Detroit will take what they can get for Nyquist and/or Tatar. A team that takes on one of them relieves Detroit of salary cap and helps them out with the expansion draft. Both Nyquist and Tatar are having a below average season. They could be had for cents on the dollar. (Like 50-75 cents per dollar)
