Is that a serious offer for foudy? It’s not close.

Honestly not sure what he is worth...remember he had a good series against the Leafs a few years ago but i see he's in the minors right now....What's his value? has he dropped off or what...if you're a fan tell me what you think instead as asking if that is a serious offer....does a 2nd do it?

I like both the players Toronto are sending out but the incoming players are both RFAs with more promise it should require a fair bit more to acquire both

Engvall is playing ok so far..Mikheyev i have never been a fan of....guess he has been hurt to much to show us what he can do.....what would i add...2nd's in each instead or 3rd's....i like how both Foudy and Appleton work hard when on the ice

Engvall is useless to us (we have 4 bottom 6 forwards in the ahl) and if anything would cost to move him to the cbj. Foudy is in the minors due to management wanting him to get more top 6 ice time. He could easily play on the fourth line but we’d rather develop a two way forward with a scoring touch than a 4th line grinder with speed.

As for price, let’s look at a second and a defenseman. He’s 21 and has good potential. We’d rather hold onto him at this point, as he still has the chance to turn into a top 9, 40 point, defensively reliable forward.

I get it...a lot of bad trades.....not trying to send our lower guys for top tier guys....just like i said remember hearing his name a lot in that series and now he's in minors...i dont follow Jackets so not sure what his deal is...my reasoning for this deal is to try to keep Dermott and/or Holl in our lineup....i'm fine with a 2nd.....but who are you thinking from the Leafs as far as D...someone on our roster like the 2 i mentioned or anyone from our minors?

I’d ask for Dermott personally as he is on the market. However I know these moves are to protect Dermott so I don’t know if there is a trade here. If it we’re Dermott and a second we’d have to throw in a lower pick this year probably tbh. Like a fifth.

ok...i could see that.....i mean if his name is out there.....Leafs must have some other plan as a backup D....

My guess is he's moreso in the AHL for optimizing his development than any failure on his part so I'm guessing CBJ value him about where he was picked
