If your gonna get a goalie for 2mill it shouldn’t be Anderson.

I would go as far to say that he and Tokarski have not been the problem at all this season. Both have had a couple rough games, but in general they have been exceptionally good, and played well in losses where nobody was giving them any help.

Have you seen Peterka play? He also deserves a place in the lineup.

I could see that
Bump Asplund down to “line4” with Girgs & Okposo
Slot Peterka into the top9 somewhere

Asplund is looking pretty damn good right now in the top 6. There are so many offensive talent in the pipeline right now that it's hard to even find a place for them in the squad.

Ya lets play our best current player on the 4th line....

Finally a good problem we have. Means we can afford to let prospects develop an extra year or two so they don't flop in the NHL. I wouldn't mind Peterka getting another year in the AHL. Keep Rosen in Sweden another year before bringing him over. Only players who should get promoted from Rochester are Quinn, Samuelsson, and maybe Laaksonen depending on what our RHD situation is

Yes, this is a pleasant problem when you do not need to include Sobotka, Sheary, Vesey, Frolik and you have no one to replace them. Peterka looks as good as Quinn and he definitely looks like a steal in the second round. I always thought he would leave somewhere between #15 - #20.

First of all, it’s not really the 4th line
You should know that
Asplund is on of the few forwards who would seem to fit on that line
If you’re gonna slot Peterka into that group of forwards,
I’d assume you don’t put him on that defensive line with Girgs & Okposo….
So who else would u out there then smart guy???

That’s a good problem to have though….
*hopefully add in a top pick like Shane Wright also !

Only if lucky in the lottery, I don't want the team to choose to the top 5 or top 10 again, kids need confidence, and constant defeats are not good.

I hear ya
And it’s not like I’m cheering for us to lose
But i also think we need more high end talent to really move forward i to a contender

I agree, but this draft is pretty deep and we have three choices in the first round.
