I'm kind of baffled by the $200,000 salary retention. That's less than 2% of the total salary owed. And since the Blackhawks will likely want to trade other salaries and retain money to make it work--Toews? De Hahn? Strome? -- I don't think they'd blow one of those three slots on 200k.
