I agree with trading Eller to make room for McMichael at C, but I wouldn't do it until the off season. Too many injuries this team has sustained over the last year, we need Eller still for this season.

Laine has been inconsistent, but he's tempting. Not sure how much he's going to command in the off season though. That's concerning.

I like to think about laine and backstrom

2) Don't know if Laine would fit in here. We already have a pure sniper in Ovi. Not saying I'm against it but could be too much all offense no defense players. Mantha is really good all around.

We already have quantity and need quality, so I don't see that Laine trade working out for the Jackets.

You've been reading too many Maple Leaf's posts. You are not going to get Laine for a bunch of spare parts and lacking a 1st round pick in the deal.
