What's the motive for Nashville?

He’s been healthy scratched a bunch. Maybe a small add to the the trade

Due to age we keep Myers. He’s still young and moldable

Philly's inclinations about Myers consistency seem pretty astute now.

But Myers is worth more than Holl and I don't know if NASH does it, even if you add 2021 TOR 2nd? Holl has been solid in Toronto, BUT I've always seem him as being the right kind of player in the right place to be a 2RD there. I don;t see him as a 2RD other places. (Also add in that when NASH traded fan favourite Ellis, they got Myers and Patrick, and it makes that deal look far worse to the fans)

Add in that Holl is 29 with just 143 NHL games and its real hard to see if the career consistency is there to say this guy will be this good for this many years kind of thing. SO Myers even struggling to get playing time is worth more than Holl.

The SEA deal I really like. Maybe SEA says "we have too many bopttom 6 forwards already", but Abramov is a nice upper midlevel prospect and the 1st in a solid draft are worth Tanev. Also maybe SEA can move kerfoot/ritchie at deadline. But its a pretty fair offer, although 7mil (2.5mil + 3.5mil + 1mil retention) in 2 pretty meh players and FOUR years of retention probably sink the deal. Without retention, SEA does it.
