Harrington is UFA next season and doesn't appear to be in CBJs future plans. He is currently a 7th Dman. What would CBJ want in exchange for him?

I am thinking Bowey (also a depth Dman but is a RD so better fits CBJs needs) is almost $1m cheaper, plus a 2022 5th round pick. Does this work?

I'd say one or the other would be fair but not both.

Harrington’s value is probably a mid-to-late round pick. A 5th alone would be more than enough.

If they find a team that values him enough to trade for him at all, I don't see them getting more than a 6th honestly

I see Bowey as the same kind of guy as Harrington, only on the RD rather than LD.
This would probably make sense given the fact the Jackets need RD depth at this moment in time.
I am sure a 1 for 1 trade would probably be suitable value for the two.

I’m very biased but I would give you a 6th and Harry for a 7th. I am so fed up with Harry and he only gets worse as others are brought in around him. Carlsson, lehtonen (when he was here), bayreuther, kukan, peeke etc. with others soon to pass him. He’s a waste of a roster spot on the nhl roster IMO. But realistically a swap of depth defenseman would be be the realistic ask.
