Eh, I'd consider it tbh. He'd be an upgrade on Chara for sure, isn't crazy expensive and I think could bring a good two-way presence. I haven't watched him play too too much, but the numbers say he's been a steady DFD for MTL, who's probably been held back by teammates who can't shoot and plays too many minutes.

But yeah I'm not giving a 1st and Clutterbuck for him, even if we are getting Lehkonen back too. Maybe Bellows and a 2nd or 3rd?

He’s very slow and isn’t a good puck mover, he’s pretty much Andy Greene 2.0. it would be a poor use of cap space. I honestly wouldn’t trade a 6th rd pick for him.

The isles need to trade for a D who can play with Mayfield. The options should be to call up Salo or trade for a D like Soucy, Lauzon, Kulak, dermott, Gio , Dehaan etc..

It’s the truth. He’s nothing more than a physical defensive Dman and he takes a ton of penalities because he’s a poor skater. Isles would have no interest in him.
