Interesting. Monahan has been in decline for a couple of years, but the chance that he could return to form with a change of scenery could make Ottawa willing to listen. However, I think they say no because Chabot has a lot more term than Monahan and Hanifin.

We ended up cucking Ottawa in this trade as they’re awful in the sim. They’re awful in the sim and could end up with Wright or a computer generated franchise potential prospect winger.

I say this trade hinges on Ottawa being hopeful Monahan can bounce back with a change of scenery, then maybe you've got a deal
