Description

Trying new things. The top line has turned in two lack luster performance in a row. Perron hasnt looked great for a few games. Put Kyrou and Buch with O'Reilly, Barbie has good chemistry with those guys but they need someone who can win more face offs than lose, Barbie was 13% for the night. Return of Saad,Thomas, Vladi line. Neal has decent chemistry with Perron still from Vegas days it seems, could see them playing well with Barbashev too. Defense is just going to be a pain until we get some guys back and/or make a move. Don't think Neighbours is sticking around seeing as how little ice time he's been trusted with the past few games. Hopefully Sundqvist returns soon, could really help/open up some options.

No clue just because where we're at cap wise with all the people out and call ups. But if we get that situated he's starting 4th line RW likely.

Dude, ya gotta give ROR Daddy at least a little time to shake off the COVID after-effects. And Neal has no business anywhere near one of the top lines.

ROR missed 4 games and Perron has been paired with multiple centers. He's been just fine and still getting chances, just no chemistry. I think Kyrou and Buch should stick together with Barby. Keep Thomas with Tarasenko and ROR with Perron.
I could see Neal playing with Thomas and Tarasenko if he continues to play like he did last night and Saad with ROR and Perron.

Understandable, he's still been a stud on faceoffs, I don't necessarily blame him for the top lines performance or any individual for that matter just think maybe giving this lineup a try would be worth it for other reasons mentioned.really liked Saad, Thomas, Vladi line before. And I can kind of agree with your thoughts on Neal, especially once we're all healthy lmao. Would you put Kostin there in his place?

Just after a couple poor showings it may be worth giving a new look to the line up and think this strikes a good balance while atleast keeping the couple pairs that had the better of play together. Thomas+Vladi, Kyrou+Buch. They're heating up together and think they should be put with what's arguably the best pieces to compliment those pairs right now. Saad our best true left winger with Thomas and Vladi. O'Reilly our best center with Kyrou and Buch

Hahah you're really not a fan of the signing huh!? Me either really lol felt a bit unnecessary with all the capable guys we've got to play bottom 6 roles... We already had top 6 talent playing 3rd line. "But he gets to the net" 😂
