I’m curious, with zero points and a -7 in ten games, what do you like about Jaskin

currently top 5 in the league in forward hits, scored +30 goals in KHL, had a high draft pedigree, i see him as a better/faster nick ritchie, who is also playing for his next contract, not relying on the one he just signed

He hits that is it. That is a waste 3.2mil in cap space, just call up Gabriel if you want that. His scoring has not translated to the NHL, his last three season before he left to the KHL, 37 games with WSH 2 goals, 76 games with STL 6 goals, 51 games with STL 1 goal.

Leafs won't be looking at him

He is just not a realistic option, first they just signed Nick, he is not getting moved this season. The offseason maybe. Jaskin does he help them in anyway other than hitting. This team needs another LEGIT scoring option not another big body who can't score. That's your choice tho
