No idea why people would want to buy him out, though his camp sounds like they want a trade due to ice time. They weren't happy with the ice time he got in the playoffs last year and with the emergence of Byram he becomes excess goods. I would love to see him in DC wearing Red White and Blue for the right price. I think he has played quite well this year, and it seems The Athletic's stats agree.

Caps should "rebrand" to the Hershey Capitals or the Washington Bears for a game, and wear a chocolate version of the regular jerseys. Would be a fun publicity stunt

Yeah the whole players are wrong thing yet you’re the one telling them what to do. The reason we can’t create offence is because of him yet he shift’s the blame to the ones listening to what he says.

I swear to god if after that meeting thingy if they still lose then he should 100% get the can no debate.

Yes it would be. The Hershey jerseys are very nice imo. I wonder what it would have been like if ovi played a year in the ahl when he was younger.

Just looked into it further and it seems people are running with a piece written by a writer with no credibility in some local Denver newspaper. Just saw that Athletic article. He was elite last year, and seems just fine this year. This site never fails to amaze me lol.

No idea, Girard is a good top 4 D with potential who's on a great long term deal

I'm sure Sakic would've rather kept Graves, but that obviously wasn't an option. Avs are decidedly worse defensively compared to last season.

That’s shooting talent, not how much he shoots. Rielly isn’t as good of a finisher at this point in his career.

The concern is that Rielly’s strength is driving offense at 5v5 and that’s starting to decline - a year before his 8 year contract begins. It’s safe to assume that within 2-3 years His offensive play driving at even strength will completely fall off and he’ll be a powerplay specialist making 7.5 AAV
