Thank god I didn’t stay up/ waste time to watch the last two Sharks games; theyve looked bad lmao (could be fatigue due to the COVID issues but still).

Chris Wideman is an NHL defenseman, that's for sure. I just wonder where he ends up next year if he's looking for a bigger paycheck. I hope the Habs keep the better of Wideman/Niku, but Niku is likely to be the cheaper option.

Really? I love the Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys. They’re better than most other specialty jerseys, like the gross all black or camo ones.

I swear to god if they don’t have Lukas Cormier on there and have Carson Lambos there I’ll lose it. My dad went to school with his father and last year they were talking about that, Lambos was cut one of the first off the team and Lukas was going to make it as the 7th, but didn’t since they liked Spence’s shot and he was a last year.

BREAKING: Fan favorite Leo Komarov has officially left the Islanders and has signed in the KHL. End of an era...

You couldn't help but like Komarov no matter which team you rooted for, he was a great teammate and a fun guy to go up against, it's just unfortunate that it didn't work out for him in Long Island (try as Trotz might smile). Hope he has success overseas.

Washington has a pretty solid goaltender depth. Samsonov - Vitecek (spelt wrong probably) - Copley (Decent recall) - Fucale (could finally become a backup/ starter).

I didn’t love them trading a 2nd to get Vitecek back (but it wasn’t a bad move); but they seem pretty set in net. Could potentially dangle Vitecek if Fucale can earn a back up role, if he sees a few more games.

Vanecek is the starter these days, Samsonov is the backup. If Fucale were to indeed earn the backup role, it would probably be Samsonov who gets dangled, not Vanecek.

Forgot about that, Fucale and Samsonov need to be performing but I think Samsonov has more potential than Vitek as to why I thought of dangling Vitek

I find it funny how I went from having a good beginning of a conversation on a thread to immediately triggering them by saying their team is a playoff team and not a cup contender (which I mean is incredibly tame), trying to be nice/ reasonable (the Pens). Lmao.

Penguins fans are sometimes to proud and whenever there is talks about the future and how they may soon miss the playoffs it triggers them

I feel despite the strong start there is strong chance they may miss with how tough their division is.

Now they still have not surpassed Detroit fans but its close.
