avs decline. ej is overpaid but still useful. drouin is skilled but unreliable due to his mental health.

DAL declines imo. Don't see the point of moving a player to one who plays similar role but is 5 years older and more expensive.

DAL says no. Toffoli would be a sweet add but not at the cost of Guri.

TT is a better all around player and produced more
DAL are old, they are trying too win now

maybe in terms of value but i think the avs are better off with ej. hes more dependable and serves more of a purpose. ideally the avs just get the cap space.

Ofc Toffoli produces more because Stars coaching don't utilize Gurianov correctly. He's more often a 4th liner than anything else.

DAL should be looking to win but under the current coaching they won't even reach the playoffs. Especially now that Hintz and Robertson aren't overperforming.

I get the sense the Avs will honor EJ's contract. He has been loyal to the organization, and I think they appreciate that. Wouldn't even be shocked of they re-signed him at a much cheaper cost.

It also doesn't hurt that his contract is a perfect placeholder for MacKinnon's raise. It's one of the few no brainer sequences when you try to project the team a few years out.

Jets do it if you are willing to make that trade during the season. Otherwise, we don’t have space for him.

Armia's contract is too much for too long. The Jets don't have the cap space or need for him and are better off holding onto Lundmark.
