toronto counters with holl and a 5th for motte. yes?
i do like motte as a depth option for us though.

you've overvalued horvat and miller. horvat for 2 A-level prospects and a 2nd is not a deal that entices the rangers. you probably get one of those 2 and a 3rd/2nd.
miller for the former 5th overall pick also isn't passing. and la's 1st will be top 10 this year, probably top 5. they counter with either turcotte for miller straight (why does LA even want miller?) or a 2nd and maybe like trevor moore

Just wondering that if the likes of Lundkvist were no starters for NYR in the Eichel trade then why would they move him for Horvat? Plus the only way they could afford doing it is by letting Strome walk, so I don't see the benefits outplaying the losses.

Also can't see LA moving such a haul to a division rival. Not that Miller's worth that much anyway. Maybe a first and a lesser prospect.

lol imagine calling Kravstov an A level prospect in 2021. Easy no from Vancouver on the NY trade.

Krav is not an A- prospect lol, it's a bad deal for the Canucks, not the Rangers.

Miller deal doesn't make sense for LA to do but IMO 1st + good prospect is fair value.

Easy. He can't translate his game to NA ice. He's good in the KHL, but that means nothing until he transitions...

1st + good prospect is fair value.
turcotte is a really really good prospect, and LA's 1st is top 10.

to, for example, a team like idk philadelphia, frost + 1st feels fair for miller. yk what i mean?

I'm a fan of both the Flyers and Canucks, and as a Flyers fan, I would feel like I robbed Vancouver blind if I got Miller for just a first and a prospect. Miller is darn good man. Frost unfortunately has had a lot of his upside stripped due to injury. He's unlikely to peak as high as originally.

If you look at what first round picks were moved for in past years, Miller is worth at least one of them, another pick, and a A- prospect. The Eichel trade doesn't automatically lower the bar for all other trades. And VAN certainly doesn't have to short sell on him yet just for the heck of it.

I hang up for any less than the package offered in this trade, which even at that I think is short.
