Quick takes that may be completely off:
-If Holl is playing well, you don't move him. Even if the Blues accepted (Which I doubt they would), Bortuzzo taking a pay cut is a big stretch.
-If Winnipeg can't sign Copp (Probably Hyman-ish money), they'd probably be looking for a cheaper player than Kerfoot, especially if they're moving the 1st. I get that they get a 2nd back, but that type of deal seems very NHL 22-esque.
-Just waive Engvall. He's not horrible, but he's a the type of guy that comes at the league minimum (And there's probably younger guys that teams already have that provide the same thing he does).
-The entire league had a shot at Ritchie, and nobody paid the amount that the Leafs did. Sure, maybe someone takes a chance at him, but saying "we can retain", when realistically you can't (You've only got $122 k in space with this current lineup for 22/23)
-Campbell at $4 mil when Dubas just gave Mrazek $200 k less is as friendly as team friendly deals get. I can't see it. Petersen at 3 x $5 is the floor, and Campbell >>> Petersen. There's a number of teams that will be looking for a starter in the offseason, and it's far more likely that he gets $5-5.5 after the numbers that he's put up.
