I've been playing in a custom league in NHL 14 with some of my friends, and we currently have 4 teams. We wanted to expand it to 8 teams, problem is that we only have 2 others who want to join in.

So I'm launching a contest between all of you guys to create and name a custom team. You need to have:

1). A Canadian city
2). Team name
3). A number from 1 to 20 (you can't choose the same number as someone else)

Example: Regina Phantoms #14

Remind me again, did NHL14 allow you to put any name for your team or did you have to pick from selected options?

I recall former NHL games being very meh in terms of name availability but I can't recall when they changed it.

You have to pick from selected options sadly, those who aren’t there I’ll pick something close to it, like if Blake Comeau’s gets picked I’ll do Blake (something related with bender, duster, trash, ect.).

Well since I'm just a BOSS, I must stay true to my tag and suggest a team called Bosses. Or maybe Chiefs. Bosses as a team name sounds a bit bland.

As for the city, I just have to think of some bigger ones which might be available. So maybe Saskatoon?

Saskatoon Chiefs is my vote. That should also be available.

Edit; also I've just found out that their Coat of Arms has the same color profile as the Dallas Stars does so this must be fate. Well, that with some yellow-ish added to boot.
