this would mean ottawa thinks they can turn the season around and perform better, essentially saying the rebuild is done as GMPD has claimed they are. Personally I would just keep sucking through the season but knowing that he frequents this site he can see this as an option

I don't think the Hawks are ready to trade Murphy and declare that they made a mistake trying to salvage Kane and Toews' final two contract years. They only just extended Murphy this off-season
