Pens are in. I wish I could accept it for them. I think the rumors are, the Leafs are asking for more than that for Holl though.

I know you want this to work for the Leafs but its just not going to get it done. 23 and 24. picks with a low level prospect for a 24 year old who's just got a fresh start and has been known to produce at .5ppg or better + Nylander who had a decent rookie year before missing a year with injury. They will both be given chances

Would I personally.?? I don’t think it matters. But yes.

Even Holl playing RHD 3rd pairing minutes is worth 2M per and a 3rd round pick in trade in my opinion.

Even as a stay at home D-man, that doesn’t score often. But I like stay at home D-man. Not a fan of the flashy D-man that fans on here claimer for; Like D’Angello, Ghoustisbhere, V.Mete.

And somehow u found away to make the Leafs softer?? With both Nylanders on a team, you better put up 5-10 goals a night..lol.

And Dylan Strome is a pillow too; waste of 6’3, 200 pound body. He literally had 2 hits playing in 20 games one season. How is that possible in the NHL.?? Panarin even falls into 20 hits a season.

Though Johnny G has the record of 1 hit in 70 games..like wtf is that.?? How that’s possible I’m not sure.

i totally get what ur saying but i feel like this isn't that bad value.

i know you don't want to trade them, but if it came down to it, what would your mock be? i'm not saying you're going to commit to the trade, just an approximate mock trade so i can edit & use

Literally both top 5 of the softest players in the NHL.

Toronto Maple Leafs:
Receive

Strome (50% Retained) + Nylander + T Johnson + 22' TOR 3rd

Chicago Blackhawks:

Receive

A.Kerfoot

A 3rd team could be added to accomodate Johnson contract more efficiently.

simmonds, muzzin, kampf, kase, sandin, bunting, brodie, and, to a lesser extent, tavares, matthews, motte, and dermott all hit. i'd much rather acquire skill & finishing (something the leafs desperately need) and give up justin holl who is easily internally replaced.

a part of me doesn't mind this. lemme ACGM this to see if the cap works. which of these would you be willing to do:
a) take on ritchie contract
b) retain on johnson
c) pay the third team to retain on johnson

Lumping Kase and Brodie in as physical players is comical. And no Kase and Brodie don’t hit anyone. And Motte hits everything that moves..?? I don’t know where u are getting this from. But ok.

mentally switched them up. motte is a hitter, kase is at least a good forechecker. you don't really need monster hits anymore, the games evolved past that.

Ok. Tell TB, the last two SC champs, that the game isn’t physical. And the Blues( SC winners in 18-19; they were super physical and full of monster hitters).

My opinion is the NHL will never move past being physically. Being big and physically will always play in the NHL. Buying into skilled, reclamation projects, like Kase will most of time fail.

Especially come play-off time. And playing a 82 game season. But we can agree to disagree.

Gave you the 3rd to go towards moving TJ. You will probably have to part with your 2nd and maybe a pick in a later year or prospect to get TJ contract absorbed by another team.
