Add Holl instead of Soup. Then your cap works out too. I doubt the Pens trade Rust at the deadline. I think he resigns in Pittsburgh and keeping him at the deadline is the only way that happens.

But a top 100 prospect, a late 1st and a NHL player seems about right value. Atleast in my opinion.

Although, I don’t think Mikheyev is the right player. Pens have plenty of NHL depth for their bottom 6, and younger, that I think they would rather give the NHL PT too.

I don’t know what they would do with Mikheyev. I guess it doesn’t matter if they arnt in contention; he’s on an expiring contract. It would just be a cap dump at that point.

I like the idea of having Rust on the Leafs, but I think the trade value has to be switched up a bit.
