I would do that for Tarasenko, not for Hoffman though. A defensive liability like him would never work under Sutter

Having a monopoly on french canadian players for decades so key to that among other things so it'd be refreshing to see them finally rebuild

If I'm Treliving I do not even accept Lucic vs Hoffman. Hoffman contract is too long and he can only play on the PP. He's awful.

As someone who has suffered through all Canadiens games this season, Hoffman is not awful. He has exceeded all my expectations on a very, very bad team.

The values aren't bad for the most part but the ones that do stand out are the Anaheim and Washington trades. That's a lot for Anderson so Ducks decline and same with Edmundson he isn't a top pairing D so maybe he returns a 2nd and good prospect but not all that IMO.

I don’t like Hoffman but he didn’t played bad at 5 on 5 this season, I am quite surprised by him

I’m not exactly certain, but I don’t think minnesota needs a goalie either. They’ve got talbot the workhorse and kahkonen the steady backup with wallstedt coming up.

Edmonton doesn't have a need at RHD and they don't have cap space for Petry. The only way to make this work would be to take Barrie or Ceci back, you could then cut the retention back significantly but your pick return would drop significantly too.
