So, who do you delete from the roster to fit in Brooks? Gee, if Brooks can't land a centre position with the depleted Hab lineup, maybe he really isn't an NHLer.

Because they waived him to start the year they can claim him and send him straight to the Marlies.

Isn't this more of the same silliness? Engvall is OK for what he does. Gee he one of few fourth liners in the league that actually carry the puck out of his zone.
If Brooks was better than Engvall, certainly the depleted Habs would have a spot for him.. Again seems like Leaf fans are so critical of their own players, but bottom enders from non playoff teams seems to be saviours. Actually I wouldn't mind if the Leafs reclaimed Brooks. Marlies seem to be hurting for goals.
