    For that price we should be getting Lindholm. Manson isn't very good more on par with Ceci

    Puljujarvi might get signed for more on a longer term deal.
    Why extend Koskinen?? Baffled!!
    I think Broberg takes third pair slot next year unless they decide to extend his grooming period.
    I would not spend a first round pick unless it either gets me in shooting range of the SCF or a long term G solution. IE Gibson.

    Manson is good in the playoffs though when the rough stuff picks up.

    I don't think edmonton has the cap room to get a 5-6 million dollar guy for at least a year. Koskinen is a good backup who i think they can get for that dollar figure. The vibe i'm getting is the organization wants skinner to be the goalie of the future and the stats across the NHL suggest fans might be looking for a goalie that doesn't exist outside of vasilevski and Hellebuyk.

    Hellebuyck would rock!! Imagine if they could draft a G like that. I honestly was more than a little pissed when they traded down to get Bourgault. Jesper Wallstedt was still there and he projects really well.

    Koskinen has been at least as good as Gibson over the past 2+ seasons. Do you even look at performance or do you just go strictly by reputation?

    Gibson is younger and played on a way worse team. I look at the goals Koskinen has allowed vs some that Gibson has allowed.

    Wallstedt apparently has an attitude problem. I trust they know things nobody else will know for some time. Also a right shot center is more of a need for edmonton than a goalie that wont be ready for 4 years and they can probably trade for. Derek Ryan is good but ideally he is a 4th line center and they draft a guy like Philip Danault (Xavier Bourgault) who is strong defensively and can score a bit helping take them to the stanley cup finals.

    Anaheim is worse because they have worse offense and worse goaltending, they don't have worse defense. Look at the numbers.
