Where do you think Domi would play?

I think Domi would be cheaper? Wasn't he exposed at the expansion and made available this offseason?

I feel like going to explode the next few months. He already has 4pts in 4 games

Probably going to get a good offer at the TDL.

Gavrikov is certainly a pricier part of this deal, wouldn't be surprised if he is a guy they try to keep for his career. Domi may be a rental but I also expect him to be one that commands a first of value at minimum. Hes looked good this year and has time to back it up before the deadline

Domi - at the deadline 50% retained for a 1st and a late pick for another 25% from another team (looking at the Folingo trade at last deadline as a base?).

Gavrikov - (honestly don’t see Columbus trading him unless he wants to leave) at the deadline is 1st or two 2nds (Martinez to VGK deal as a base?).

Gavrikov is worth more to us than Martinez was to LA. Martinez was 32+ and gavrikov is 25. I look at a first plus a good defensive prospect to start the conversation. He is so important to us. He’s been killing it along the walls lately and can shut down opponents after they hem in our forwards up top. Not to mention his off ice impacts/ translation assist for chinakhov.

    Domi I completely agree

I'd honestly just say Gavrikov flat out isn't available. While that's not technically 100% true, a "you have to convince us to give up this guy we'd desperately need an exact replacement for immediately" type return would be necessary. We just don't have enough shutdown types.

I think a B prospect and a 1st is a good deal for both teams for Gavrikov. He has a great contract and is a top 4D. This draft is also strong so that 1st rounder could be nice
