No, why does Minnesota give away a 3rd round pick for a 7th, or 8th d and bottom line c / winger?

Erod is pens leading scorer and can play all three forward positions, plus PP and PK. Can slot anywhere in your top 9 and Geurin is the guy that had the Pens sign Riikola, who should be playing in Pens top six but Sullivan doesn't like him.

Ottawa declines.

We are not trading a rental and a 3rd round pick for a LD that struggles to live up to his contract on most nights.

We already have plenty of them.

Rikola wouldn't play on wild. Just because Guerin signed a certain player on Pittsburgh doesn't mean he wants him in Minnesota. Minnesota has zero room on its roster for Rodriguez

Behind Letang, MP has been the best pens dman this entire season.

Rodrigues would be an upgrade over Rask no doubt.

Okay well Rask has been in the press box all year, so where does that put Rodrigues? Next to him in the press box? We're full on one way guys at both forward and defensemen. There's no room on the roster for them.

Rask hasn't played at all. He's been a healthy scratch. He was just inserted back today because it's appears kaprizov trust him more and like playing with him

On another note, MIN should have traded for Eichel or Strome.

They don't have the cap space for Eichel for the next 3.5 years, it's not worth the assets they'd have to give up in addition to the assets they'd have to move to keep fitting under the cap. And Strome isn't any good.

avs would take this, but just FYI that is a pretty risky package for the Pens. Bowers has been out all season wiht a concussion, Kam is out in KHL with no aspirations to return. really could just be selling rust for a 2nd

For next season, we will likely have Chabot, Sanderson, MDZ, Mete, Brannstrom and Kleven as options for the left side of our defence.

That's more than enough.

If there's a team out there that actually needs help at LD, I'm sure they'd consider bringing in MP.

But Ottawa is not that team.

Sorry.

Have a question for sens fans, would you swap Brannstrom for Kakko? Just a random thought.

Sens aren’t trading for an overpaid LD with 3 more seasons left on his contract when they have Sanderson arriving in the spring. These meaningless games this season aren’t worth trading a decent asset for.

Okay, because for a moment I thought you may have meant Kapanen, because I’d trade Brannstrom for Kapanen.

I don’t think the Rangers would do the swap, without an add.
