Not bad but I think they'd prefer Turcotte over Vilardi. That full three years of ELC from their perspective is more enticing.

Yotes politely decline. He's their core defenseman who they're building around. However, if you replaced Vilardi with a high-tier prospect (Turcotte, Byfield), then we could have a conversation (although if you were to give us Byfield I wouldn't demand as many prospects).

When ARI will begin to be competitive, Chychrun will walk as a UFA

Yeah exactly or ask for a crazy problematic contract

Arizona need a GM like Poile asap

Clever nifty guy keeping them at 40ish wins yearly likely clockwork and a few times a decade 50 wins, but no they had to hire faux analytics charlatan etc.

You cant look at this years roster and make that assessment. Arizona has a lot of promising young prospects as well as a very high draft pick this year. Nearly their entire roster this year will be gone this summer (at least the really bad parts). They could be competing for a playoff spot as soon as 2 years from now

Who’s promising outside Soderstrom and Guenther ? Hayton doesn’t showed anything, Jenik is a ? and Firanacci look like a bottom six grinder

Like Poile? Guy has been in charge for 25 years and gotten to the cup final once. Not a bad GM but he has definitely been kept on because it's a small market and mediocre success has kept him alive, other then that he isn't exactly a stand out
