I like the idea of Demelo, but I don't think Winnipeg would move him given that they're also trying to win. I'd also be weary of giving Copp that contract. If you can get him for around $1M less, I think it's a fine deal. I'd just be hesitant to dedicate all that cap space to your 3C. I know he's had an awesome start to the year, but I'd wait to see if it's sustainable

All these trades get declined. You’re not giving up nearly enough for demelo, Arizona has no reason to make that trade, and the only reason a team would take Hamonic or Poolman is if you were taking cap back the other way

We probably have to pay more to get rid of Myers and Hamonic. Tbh, I like Poolman and think he would be good in a reduced role.

I'm also not really a fan of going after Manson, consensus seems to be his play is declining so you're giving assets to dump Myers then signing another Myers.

Not sure you're getting Demelo for cheap then also signing Copp. I feel like if WPG is moving Demelo for cheap it's to sign Copp.

You clearly have no idea of the value of defensemen. Hamonic and Poolman have value and really should not be traded.

The issue with Myers is his contract. I don't believe it would take a first to trade Myers, but it will take retention and a pick. Something like VAN retains $2m and trades Myers along with a 4th round pick to team like ARI. ARI keeps the 4th round pick retains $2m and trades Myers to final destination in exchange for a 3rd round pick. Myers at $2m is a steal for a 3rd round pick.
